.
Certainly "The Lord's Prayer" is one of the best known sacred songs. In either the original solo version, or choir version, it has remained, since first composed in 1935, a favorite setting of Jesus's prayer. It was written by Albert Hay Malotte, born in Philadelphia in 1895. Malotte was a fascinating personality, who was also a sportsman, and once boxed with Jack Dempsey. He worked in films throughout his life writing scores for cartoons and movies, particularly those of Walt Disney, and died in Los Angeles in 1964.

THE ALTAR FLOWERS are given to the Glory of God and in memory of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Evans by the Family.
The Sanctuary Lamp is sponsored today in memory of my grandfathers, George T. Heidelmair, Sr. and Joseph J. Reidy, MD. by Sean Reidy
.
